Distributed Solutions, Inc. (DSI) seeks a Senior Business Process Solutions Manager. As a member of an integrated team, the Business Process Solutions Manager is also responsible for proactively and collaboratively working with DSI project managers, contract managers, support teams, and other DSI organizational groups in a tactical and strategic capacity, evaluating internal and external client requirements, enforcing change control, and implementing practical solutions on time. 

Job Requirements:  

  • Manage DSI’s business process consultants and product team leads. 

  • Foster opportunities for upselling DSI business process solutions. 

  • Manage the activities to establish/determine the customer’s business process issues/problems/needs. 

  • Achieve proficiency in DSI’s products and features. 

  • Oversee customer engagement with end users to understand business problems and corresponding needs. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and functional business experts. 

  • Translate and document business needs into business requirements. 

  • Enable/drive problem-solution-fit to the customer using an analysis of alternatives approach. 

  • Oversee and participate in end-user interviews to understand the “as is” process flows. 

  • Oversee the development of the “to-be” process flows, develop user stories, and support the design and configuration of a minimally viable solution. 

  • Oversee and participate in key client meetings, including requirement sessions, solution demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training. 

  • Oversee and conduct customer presentations explaining the business benefits of DSI’s configurable process automation solutions, including new and proposed features.  

  • Communicate effectively and persuasively and present best practice solutions to senior management and key stakeholders. 

  • Document baseline solution configurations and enforce effective change control to complement/optimize the agile process. 

Required Experience: 

  • Working knowledge of the federal acquisition process. 

  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies. 

  • Ability to work and effectively collaborate in a team-oriented environment for a matrixed organization. 

  • Proven ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audience. 

  • Knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Teams, and MS OneDrive. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to listen and relate to customers.  

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Strong team player who is always willing to help other team members. 

 Desired, but not Required Experience: 

  • Working knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle phases and processes within program offices, requiring activities, and contracting offices. 

  • Knowledge of federal contracting and financial systems, including integrations, processes, and procedures. 

  • Prior business process analyst experience related to customer business processes. 

  • Industry certifications from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM), such as CPSM, CPS,D or APSN; National Contract Management Association (NCMA,) such as CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, or CCMA, Project Management Institute (PMI,) such as PMP or CAPM; Scrum Alliance such as CSM 

  • Academic knowledge or working knowledge of Agile and SCRUM processes and methodologies.  

  • Fundamental understanding of the Federal Acquisition process with the NCMA Contract Management Standard (CMS). 

Education:  

  • A master’s or other advanced degree and 7 years of relevant experience or  

  • A bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience; or  

  • Government /Industry technical/professional certifications such as CPCM, DAWIA, PMP, and 10 years of relevant experience. 
     

The AEON platform supports DSI’s configurable solutions, which are enabled by DSI’s COTS software tools to support best practice business processes across the entire acquisition lifecycle for program offices and contracting offices throughout the federal government. AEON is a powerful and secure business process automation and management platform that uses data-driven, no-code configurations of business rules, which support process and content management. Customer solutions are offered on-premises and as software as a service (SaaS) to solve complex business process needs across the government.
